I've been finding myself seriously thinking about freelance work as a photographer, maybe doing something on the side, but there is one thing holding me back.. Just a quick post today ... a few pictures to share of my son and his best friend. They have known eachother since they were 8 months old. I caught the shots of my son trying to go in for a kiss, when I was hiding around a corner... Poor guy, his first attempt at a kiss forever documented ;)

Here are a few shots from my "ME DAY" photowalk ;) I was really taken with the benches that were all over the park... maybe it was the tranquillity.I also found myself taking pictures of some of the antiques that were in the barns and things with texture like the trees and the benches that were so old the paint was peeling.

As I mentioned, I make a lot of mistakes... let me emphasize A LOT! Mostly they are caused by exposure problems...Sometimes the camera was focusing on the wrong thing (user error)I once took a whole bunch of photos for some friends and didn't realize that they were tinted green.. ugg.. It's 12:30 PM & my older son has taken 150 photos in less than an hour... He's really enjoying his new mini-camera. A few more shots to share..Grandma gave a pair of binoculars & a little camera as surprise gifts and the little ones had fun playing with them. The little one peeking at a bag of watermelon... The way to his heart is definitely through his stomach. I took of picture of him midway through his happy dance because he was so excited that he had a bowlful of fruit.

I was sorting through some photos and came across a couple of sunset photos.  The picture on the left was taken during the Oct 2007 fire and one on the right was taken last month. Summer has finally arrived as you can see by my brown thumb (sorry Mom) and the shrieks of laughter as my boys go barrelling down the slip and slide. I had a wonderful weekend. I went to an all day scrap for National Scrap Day with Erin & Steph and completed (OK, 75% completed) a couple of pages...
